Meet Our Team!

Donna Sayler, LICSW ~ Psychotherapist & Intake Coordinator
Welcome—I’m glad you’re here. If you’ve been going back and forth about reaching out for support, wondering whether your struggles are “big enough” for therapy, or telling yourself you “should” be able to handle things on your own, you’re not alone.
The truth is, if you are feeling anxious, overwhelmed, stuck, or quietly worn down, that is enough, and therapy can help. I work with people who struggle with anxiety, ongoing stress, overthinking, perfectionism, and that constant feeling of being on edge. My approach is warm, practical, and tailored to you. In our work together, you don’t have to minimize your struggles or have the “right” words. We’ll explore what’s been weighing you down, help you reconnect with yourself, and work toward a life that feels more aligned, grounded, and fulfilling.

My background includes nearly 20 years of experience in the mental health field, in a variety of roles and settings, including private practice, schools, residential treatment, and day treatment programs. Throughout my career, my work has been guided by the belief that people are not broken—they’re often overwhelmed, carrying too much for too long, or disconnected from what they need to feel well.

If you're feeling overwhelmed and unsure of where to start, that's okay. You don’t have to have it all figured out before reaching out. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation, and together let’s see if we can help you find that next best step.

Amanda Ruberg, LICSW ~ Psychotherapist
I am skilled at helping individuals manage anxiety, and I understand that it can present in diverse and often complex ways in today’s modern environment. Whether it shows up as worry, overwhelm, physical symptoms, perfectionism, or difficulty navigating daily responsibilities, I aim to help clients make sense of their experience and move toward meaningful, lasting change.
My background includes work in a variety of settings including schools, hospitals, and outpatient clinics. These experiences encouraged me to have a flexible, well-rounded perspective to treatment and to understand the various contexts that influence a person’s wellbeing. I bring a warm, approachable, and grounded presence to sessions and value building a strong therapeutic connection as the foundation for effective work.

I specialize in working with young adults ages 18-35 who are navigating significant life transitions, identity development, academic or career pressures, relationship challenges, and the stressors that often arise during this stage of life. Together, we can work to clarify goals, develop coping strategies, and create space for growth and self-understanding.

For individuals impacted by trauma, I offer Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), an evidence-based approach that can help resolve traumatic memories and symptoms efficiently and gently.
My goal is to provide a supportive, collaborative environment where you feel understood and empowered. If you are ready to take steps toward greater clarity and emotional wellbeing, I am here to help.

Intake Meeting & Goal Setting

Our first meeting is an opportunity to learn more about what brings you to therapy, and to begin creating a plan for helping you get from where you are now to where you want to be. If you aren't sure what you want to get out of therapy, or how to put your thoughts and feelings into words, that is okay! Figuring these things out is often a reason people come to therapy, and part of the therapeutic process!

Your Sessions

Each session is structured to support you in the current moment, while working toward your short-term and long-term goals. Sessions often include some combination of mindfulness work, checking in on how you are feeling that day (or recently), discussing any events or situations that might be helpful to process in therapy, identifying themes that might be showing up in your life, setting and reviewing goals, learning skills and strategies, and making action plans.

Not sure if therapy is right for you or your loved one?

Deciding on therapy (and a therapist) is a big decision. We also know that reaching out to a therapist for the first time can feel a little uncomfortable. However, we hope that after you meet with us for a free 15-minute consultation, you will have some clarity on the next steps for supporting the mental health of you or your loved one. There is never any pressure to work with us following a consultation. Our goal is always to help you figure out the next best step. If the next best step does not include working with us, we will be sure to give you recommendations or resources to help you and your loved ones as you take your next steps from here.
